Are you based in the UK?
Yes, we’re based in the beautiful Tamar Valley, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the Cornwall/Devon border.
What is an ethical lifestyle store?
We are an ethical lifestyle store which means our aim is to offer you everything you need for every aspect of your life to be sustainable and to enable you to start taking steps towards living more consciously and ethically.
What is your mission?
At The Path Less Wasteful we want to encourage everyone to take any steps they can towards more conscious living. Our focus is on sustainability and products that are kinder to animals as well as the planet.
What’s your waste policy?
We have very little waste as all of our suppliers are eco-conscious and sustainability minded as well, so send in minimal packaging (of which we reuse where possible). Anything we are unable to reuse is recycled appropriately. You can read our full Sustainability Policy here.

Are all your products vegan-friendly?
Yes, all the products we stock are 100% vegan and cruelty free.
How often do you add new products to your site?
We continually review our stock and source new products. By joining our mailing list and following us on social media, you will be notified as soon as we have new items on our site, as well as receiving exclusive offers and discounts, updates and sneak peaks!
What’s the difference between compostable and biodegradable?
The main difference between compostable and biodegradable is that compostable products need specific conditions in order to break down, whereas biodegradable products break down naturally. Typically composting is a faster process, but only under the right conditions. If products are both biodegradable and compostable, they will break down regardless, but if composted will break down quicker
How long will it take to receive my order?
We aim to dispatch all orders placed by the next working day, however during very busy periods this may not always be possible. We use Royal Mail and would expect orders to reach you within 5-7 days at the latest, from when you placed the order, depending on the shipping option you choose. If you’ve ordered 1st class your package should arrive in 1-2 working days. If you’ve ordered 2nd class your package should arrive in 2-4 working days.

Can I amend or add to an order I’ve placed?
If you get in touch before we have shipped your items then we will do our best to assist you with amendments or additions, but unfortunately it may not always be possible. It’s best to contact us as soon as possible.
Where do you ship?
Currently we only offer shipping within the UK.
What packaging do you use?
Most of our packaging is reused from parcels we have received. Boxes/envelopes/bags/packaging material come from business or personal deliveries. Any packaging we purchase is recycled and recyclable. Items are wrapped plastic-free, with brown paper tape, with a vegan friendly adhesive. We do not include invoices in our parcels to save on paper waste. We ask that you please reuse or recycle all packaging responsibly.
